Maddie Munden, product development manager for Leeds-based supermarket Asda, tests up to 90 different types of bread each week.

Maddie  was bestowed the honour of Master Baker just 4 years after starting her successful career within baking at 16.

Quality control is so important and Maddie ensures that the loaves she tests are going to be the best for the customers of Asda, she checks appearance, colour, texture and of course, most importantly taste.

Maddie is also keen to develop additional bakery lines and has recently been keen to introduce the US favourite Corn Bread to the shelves of Asda.
